Plans & quotas
A plan defines quotas — number of users, documents, e-sign and Aadhaar allowances — and feature gates (multi-user, SMS, AI/legal templates). When a quota is reached, the relevant action is blocked until you upgrade or the billing period resets.
For the API, the monthly call limit and remaining e-sign/Aadhaar allowances are visible in
the Developer portal’s Usage tab, which also lists recent calls. Rate-limit headers
(X-RateLimit-*) and a 429 with Retry-After signal when you’re going too fast; the monthly
quota is separate from the burst rate limit.
